My childhood friend and movie-buddy Ben took me out for dinner and movie in Eastwood.

My take on the movie? The blood and gore is tastefully graphic. I didn't even flinch while watching Spartans slaughtering the Persians.

It was a "Man-feast" according to my friend. With all those 300 men in 6 packs gathered together in their red capes, I'm afraid I have to agree.

I have to say MTRCB didn't censor the movie. I've seen too much when King Leonidas and Queen Gorgo done their uhm...Royal Rumble. Nainggit lang ako! Hahaha! Sa panaginip na lang ba ako makaka-salat ng ganon ka-angas na abs. And they rated it as R-13?!?! Teka, may R-13 nga ba? MTRCB should have done their job which is to keep people like me from drooling over delectable men exposing their naked bottoms.

Special mention to Keanu look-alike aka "beheaded cutie" as my brother would put it. It was no other than Tom Wisdom playing Astinos, the beloved son of the Captain. I scourge the internet for this guy because his IMDB database is proven inadequate. Photo of him can be found here: http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/artists/w/Tom-Wisdom/index-1201719.html

One of 'em feel good movies. I'm a fan of Drew Barrymore ever since Charlie's Angels and 50 First Dates. Chemistry between her and Hugh Grant was great but I've seen better tandems. There are some scenes that I think went way too overboard but you will still survive through it before the gag reflex.

Also, I love their soundtrack minus the Sex meets Ghandi songs.

Nice to have in your DVD and music collection. I will definitely watch them out in my favorite record store.

Nicholas Cage is well-fitted in the role of Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider. Eva Mendez is still as hot as hell. Story line is a bit too mainstream, I wish they could have made it a tad darker. Fight scenes were too short and the "bosses" were too easy to kill as game-masters' Ricky and Ranulf would say it.

I still find it entertaining enough to keep you occupied on Valentines day.

I was laughing my @ss off after seeing this mockumentary.

The movie is mainly about a reporter names Borat who is doing a documentary about the American culture in the eyes of a Khazhaktani. But when he saw Pamela Anderson in Baywatch, he decided to take a cross-country trip from New York to California to marry her. The movie shows their misadventures in their encounter with several people coming from different walks of life. Sacha Baron Cohen, who played as Borat, must be lucky to get out each hairy situation alive.

According to the wikipedia for Borat the movie, there were several deleted scenes removed from the movie which can be found in www.YouTube.com.

Personally, the movie is very funny and probably the best one I've ever seen. Several anti-semitic lines were said and straight out toilet humor is used in this movie. No wonder this movie was known for its controversies and several pending lawsuits.

Also, I think the movie is better off without Borat vs. Azamat fight. I don't think it was necessary and would have left the movie in better position to be watched. We almost thought Azamat was a woman because we can't even see his weener peeping out.

Even if I didn't read the book, there are just some things that could have been left out in the script. The movie adaptation was badly written!!! Thank goodness the actors has done their job to carry out their roles...but still bad script + good actors is still bad movie. They should have cut it shorter than 2 1/2 hours.

If you want to appreciate the movie, don't bother reading the novel.

My friends and I took the last night show in Greenbelt 3 (that's around 12mn, mind you) and I never fell asleep like I did when I watch Episode Three. There are no boring moments in the movie and probably some Filipinos are able to relate on Andy's prudish ways especially during the scene when watching porn flicks. You will come out of the moviehouse smiling and feeling quite happy that Andy Stitzer (Steve Caller) didn't "lose it".

If you are in for a good laugh and a great time, I strongly recommend to watch this. Soundtrack of the movie also is nice for those 80's aficionados.

The suspense will keep you at the edge of your seats. You can feel the despair from Dakota Fanning's endless screamfest but sometimes the pitch gets too high that it hurts my ears. Superb acting from Tom Cruise of course. Thank God, Katie Holmes is not there locked around his leg. I just hated the cinematography because the camera moves too much especially during the early part of the movie. Also, the storyline gets a little vague towards the end. Did I already mention that Dakota's screaming in the movie is way too much?

If you are a lover of 3D animation and SciFi and would like to watch something light and entertaining, this is the flick for you. Voices features all-star casts including legendary comics Robin Williams and Mel Brooks. Of course, stellar acting from Ewan McGregor and Greg Kinnear. Watch out for spoofs from other movies. Very engaging. I already seen this movie twice and I'm still laughing till the end of every movie.
